What a difference a month makes when fostering a dog! Fudgie, this stunningly beautiful 12-year old mixed-breed dog was initially mostly disinterested in engaging with others. Now she comes prancing to the door when I return, tail wagging, eager to be given lots of attention! On walks, she is beginning to engage with other dogs and we now believe she might do just fine in a home with the right low-key, middle-aged or senior dog.
Fudgie’s elderly guardian recently went into a nursing facility. Shortly afterwards, Fudgie was adopted by people who after only one week decided they didn’t really want a dog. What did they do? They brought her to a vet to be euthanized! Luckily a caring person stepped in, vowing to help this lovely gal!
Fudgie is a mellow dog who rarely barks. She loves to walk and does so at a good clip. Once back inside, she is content to just be a couch potato till her next outing. She is the perfect dog for someone who works at home – quiet and chill!
Fudgie is spayed and housebroken. She would do best in a home with no children under 13.
